The Real Reason to Work Out

Getting into great shape isn’t just about looks.

It’s about performance.

Here’s what I mean:

Building a company is exhausting.

The long days. The setbacks. The constant problem-solving.

It takes energy. Stamina. The ability to keep going when most people quit.

And if you look at the people who win?

They have physical endurance.

They don’t burn out as easily.

They don’t crash at 2 p.m.

They bring the same intensity to the 10th meeting of the day as they did to the first.

Success Shouldn’t Make You Too Busy for the Gym

It’s easy to think:

“I just don’t have time to work out anymore. I’m running a business.”

But we forget—we’re probably successful BECAUSE we used to train.

We had energy. Discipline. Mental clarity.

The times I’ve prioritized my health?

I’ve felt sharper, stronger, more resilient.

The times I’ve put it off?

Sluggish. Stressed. Diminishing returns.

It’s not mainly about looking good in a suit…

It’s about showing up every day with an amazing advantage.

We All Have the Time

I’ve never met someone who truly doesn’t have time.

We all have 24 hours.

The only difference? What we do with them.

If your schedule is full, here’s my advice:

Don’t cut out the gym.

Cut out the distractions.

One of the best pieces of advice I’ve received is this one: Put the most important things in your calendar first.

And physical fitness?

It should be at the top.
